When and How to Get ACT Scores?

I'm taking the ACT in the fall and I was wondering when and how I'll be able to access my ACT scores after taking the test? I'm a bit stressed about this, so any help would be appreciated!

Don't worry, accessing your ACT scores is a straightforward process. After you take the test, your scores will typically become available online within 2-4 weeks. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to access your ACT scores:

1. Visit the ACT website: Go to the official ACT website (act.org) and create an account or sign in if you haven't already.

2. Sign in to your ACT account: Use your registered email and password to sign in. Make sure to use the same account you created when registering for the test.

3. Access your scores: Once you're logged in, click on the "Your Test Dates and Scores" section. This will take you to a page where you can see your test date(s) and the status of your scores.

4. Check score availability: If your scores are available, you will see a "View Scores" button next to the test date. Click on it to see your reported scores.

5. Review your scores: On the scores page, you'll see your composite score, along with individual scores for each test section (English, Math, Reading, and Science). You'll also find sub-scores and a detailed score report that offers further insights into your performance.

Keep in mind that scores for the optional ACT Writing section may take a little longer to be released, generally about 2 weeks after your multiple-choice scores become available.

Finally, remember to be patient. Although most scores are released within the 2-4 week window, ACT notes that in some cases it may take up to 8 weeks for students to receive their scores. If your scores haven't been posted after this period, consider contacting ACT for assistance.
